Tell KDP what AI made
KDP asks you to disclose AI-generated text, images (cover and interior) and translations when you publish. AI-assisted work, where you created it and AI helped edit or brainstorm, does not need disclosure.

Your whole book launch kit from one chat.
Creative Claw is a ChatGPT plugin that makes everything around a book launch in one conversation: cover concepts with your title lettered in, a translated edition cover, a 9:16 BookTok trailer with a narrator and score, an audiobook retail sample, narration in other languages and quote cards. Our fictional novel’s full kit came to about 766 credits ($7.66); a cover is 24 credits and our 30-second trailer about 537. No subscription. Audible requires human narration; Spotify, Google Play Books and Kobo accept labelled digital narration.

One ElevenLabs v4 request each, with the emotion written into the script in [brackets]. Four more genres, including a Spanish thriller, are on the audiobook narration page.
Thriller · terror
[whispers] Someone was in the archive. [short pause] The key was still in my pocket, but drawer nineteen was open... [footsteps on stone] [terrified whisper] Footsteps. Below me. Slow, and wet, like someone walking out of the sea. [breathing heavily] I blew out the candle. [long pause] [barely audible] And in the dark, something whispered my name.
Romance · tender to tearful
[softly, smiling] He kept every letter. All forty-two of them, tied with the blue ribbon from my sister's wedding. [laughs softly] He'd even corrected my spelling in the margins, the idiot. [voice breaking] And on the last one, the one I never sent... [long pause] [tearful] he'd written, "Yes. Always yes."
Epic fantasy · battle cry
[low, building intensity] They told us the gate would hold until dawn. [distant war drums] It did not hold. [shouting] Shields up! Archers to the wall! [sword clash] [roaring] Today the Ninth Crown does not kneel... [crowd roaring] we stand, or we fall standing!
Cozy mystery · sarcastic
[sarcastic] Oh, wonderful. A body. In my bakery. On opening day. [exasperated sigh] And of course he's face-down in the lemon scones, the only batch I didn't burn. [laughs nervously] Officer, I swear, the most dangerous thing in this kitchen is my sourdough starter. [gasps] Wait. Is that... my rolling pin?
Finished example
We invented a novel, The Salt Archive by Mara Quill, a gothic mystery set in a fog-bound harbour town, to show a full launch kit. Nano Banana 2 designed three covers with the title spelled right, a Spanish edition cover and two quote cards; Gemini Omni Flash shot the trailer scenes; Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS voiced the trailer and read chapter one as a retail sample; Lyria 3.5 scored it; and HyperFrames cut the trailer with text hooks on the narration. If you already have a cover, skip the first rows.
Voiceover script
“Every year, on the night of the drowning, the sea gives something back to Wrenhaven. Letters. Sealed. Never read. For nineteen years, Ada Lorne has filed them away. Tonight, one of them has her name on it.”
| Step | Tool | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Three cover concepts with title and author lettered in | Nano Banana 2, 2K | 72 |
| Spanish edition cover (two tries) | Nano Banana 2, 2K | 48 |
| Four trailer stills | Nano Banana 2, 2K | 96 |
| Two quote cards | Nano Banana 2, 2K | 48 |
| Three 6-second trailer shots, 1080p | Gemini Omni Flash | 414 |
| 26-second trailer voiceover | Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS | 4 |
| 2:19 audiobook sample, chapter one | Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS | 30 |
| 40-second Spanish narration | Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS | 8 |
| Trailer score | Lyria 3.5 | 16 |
| Word checks on the narration | Transcribe | 3 |
| Trailer and audiobook sample videos | HyperFrames (render_html_video) | 27 |
| Total for the finished example | 766 ($7.66) | |
The book, author, characters and text are fictional and were written for this page. The trailer and audiobook videos were rendered with HyperFrames; render_html_video quotes about 27 credits for all three. Without the covers and quote cards, the trailer and narration alone are about 550 credits.

Before you render
KDP asks you to disclose AI-generated text, images (cover and interior) and translations when you publish. AI-assisted work, where you created it and AI helped edit or brainstorm, does not need disclosure.
ACX (Audible) requires human narration unless Amazon authorises otherwise. Spotify, Google Play Books and Kobo accept digital narration with a label. Check the store before producing a full book.
Quote your own book or real reviews you have permission to use. The FTC rule in force since October 2024 bans fake reviews and testimonials, including AI-generated ones.
YouTube and TikTok ask creators to label realistic AI-generated video. A photoreal trailer counts; use the platform’s AI label when you post.
Check current pricing, read short answers in the help center, inspect the tool reference, or browse published media examples. Examples illustrate creative approaches; they are not proof that this exact starter prompt was run.
Practical answers
For book visuals and audio, Creative Claw: it designs covers with your title lettered in, makes BookTok trailers, narrates retail samples and translated editions, and makes quote cards, inside ChatGPT, paid per use. The book trailer apps we checked (BookFlix AI, ReelCraft AI) are not in ChatGPT. Creative Claw publishes this page.
Cover concepts with your title and name lettered in, translated edition covers, trailer scenes and a 9:16 BookTok trailer with a narrator and score, an audiobook retail sample, narration in other languages, and quote cards for Instagram and Pinterest.
Yes, with Creative Claw. Describe the genre, mood and scene; Nano Banana 2 designs a 2:3 cover at 2K with the title and author lettered in for 24 credits. All four of our covers spelled the title correctly.
Yes. Creative Claw designs the scenes as stills, animates them into 6-second shots with Gemini Omni Flash, writes and voices the narration, scores it, and cuts a 9:16 trailer with text hooks. Our 30-second trailer cost about 537 credits.
Yes, with a digital voice. Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS read our 2:19 chapter sample for 30 credits. Where you can sell AI narration depends on the store: Audible (ACX) requires a human narrator; Spotify, Google Play Books and Kobo accept labelled digital narration.
Creative Claw makes media, not manuscripts. ChatGPT can help with blurbs and marketing copy, but KDP asks you to disclose AI-generated text, so keep your own writing yours.
Our Salt Archive kit, with three covers, a Spanish edition cover, four trailer stills, three trailer shots, a 30-second trailer, a 2:19 audiobook sample, a Spanish narration, a score and two quote cards, came to about 766 credits ($7.66).
Publisher trailer packages run about $200 to $999 and studios $500 to $6,000 or more; audiobook narrators charge about $100 to $500 per finished hour. Book trailer apps such as BookFlix AI and ReelCraft AI start around $20 a month.
Yes. New accounts get 100 free credits with no card, enough for four cover concepts.
Start every scene from the same references (a character sheet, the cover art, a location still) and they stay consistent. Save your protagonist as a Character to reuse for the next book in the series.
Yes. ElevenLabs v4 voiced our three-character scene, with waves, thunder and tearing paper written into the script, in one 16-credit request. Audible still treats any AI voice as digital narration.
Nano Banana 2 for covers, stills and quote cards; Gemini Omni Flash for trailer shots; Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS or ElevenLabs for narration; Lyria 3.5 for trailer music; HyperFrames for trailer and sample edits. You can name any model in the request.
Yes. We edited our cover into a Spanish edition and narrated the opening in Spanish with the same voice. KDP counts AI translations as AI-generated, so disclose them, and have a native reader check the text.
A BookBub survey of more than 1,200 authors (May 2025, as reported by ALLi) found about 45% use generative AI, mostly for research and marketing copy, with ChatGPT leading and Claude close behind.
Yes. KDP’s content guidelines ask you to disclose AI-generated content, including text, images (cover and interior art) and translations, when you publish or republish. Content an AI tool created counts as AI-generated even if you edited it a lot. AI-assisted work (you made it, AI helped edit or brainstorm) does not need disclosure.
Not through ACX. ACX’s submission requirements (April 2026) say audiobooks must be narrated by a human unless otherwise authorised, and unauthorised text-to-speech is prohibited. Amazon’s own Virtual Voice, an invite-only KDP beta, is the authorised AI route.
Spotify for Authors accepts digital voice narration from providers “like Google Play Books, ElevenLabs, and more” and adds a disclosure line. Google Play Books accepts uploads with a synthesized-voice narrator. Kobo Writing Life accepts AI narration credited to a synthesised voice (as reported). Apple Books offers only its own digital narration. Check each store before you narrate a whole book.
Your text stays yours. In the US, the Copyright Office says prompts alone do not make an image copyrightable; your own selection, arrangement and edits can be. Keep your drafts. This is not legal advice.
No. The FTC rule in force since October 21, 2024 bans fake reviews and testimonials, including AI-generated ones, with civil penalties for knowing violations. Quote your own book, or real reviews you have permission to use.
On YouTube and TikTok, label realistic AI-generated video with the platform’s AI disclosure. A stylised or clearly illustrated trailer usually is not covered; check each platform’s current rules when you post.
Open chatgpt.com/plugins/creativeclaw and select Install plugin, or search for Creative Claw in ChatGPT’s plugin directory, then sign in. New accounts get 100 free credits, no card.
No. Creative Claw is pay as you go: $10 buys 1,000 credits that never expire, and new accounts get 100 free credits. You pay per book, not per month.
Yes. Paste a chapter or your blurb into ChatGPT for narration and trailer scripts, and attach your cover so trailers, quote cards and translated editions match it.
No. It makes the files (covers, trailers, narration, quote cards); you upload them to KDP, your audiobook distributor or your social accounts.
