AI video translator: dub and lip-sync a video into another language

Creative Claw translates talking videos inside ChatGPT, Claude or Codex: it transcribes the original, the assistant translates the script to fit the same length, ElevenLabs v4 voices it in the target language, and HeyGen Lipsync moves the speaker’s mouth to the new audio on the original take. Our 10-second English UGC ad became Spanish for about 60 credits ($0.60): 3 for the voice and 57 for the lip sync. ElevenLabs v4 covers 90+ languages.

How it works

  1. 1

    Transcribe the original

Creative Claw transcribes the speech with word timings, about 44 credits per hour of audio; a 10-second clip is about 1 credit.

  2. 2

    Translate to fit

ChatGPT or Claude translates the script and keeps it about the same length, so the new lines fit the shot.

  3. 3

    Voice it natively

Pick a native voice in the target language, or the speaker’s consented clone. ElevenLabs v4 is 20 credits per 1,000 characters.

  4. 4

    Lip-sync the original take

HeyGen Lipsync matches the mouth to the new audio at 6 credits a second (3 in Speed mode). Add captions in the new language and download.

FAQ

Can ChatGPT or Claude translate a video? +

They translate the words. With Creative Claw they also transcribe the original, voice the translation and lip-sync the speaker, all in the same chat.

How much does AI video translation cost? +

Our 10-second clip cost about 60 credits ($0.60): 3 for the Spanish voice and 57 for HeyGen Lipsync. Lip sync is 6 credits a second, or 3 in Speed mode.

Which languages can it dub into? +

ElevenLabs v4 speaks 90+ languages and Cartesia 43. The lip sync follows whatever audio you give it, so check pronunciation in each language before you publish.

Can the speaker keep their own voice? +

Yes, with their consent: clone the voice from a 1–2 minute recording and voice the translation with the clone.

What about captions already in the video? +

Burned-in captions stay in the picture, so start from a version without on-screen text and add new captions in the target language.

What if the translation runs longer than the original? +

Ask for a translation that fits the same length. HeyGen Lipsync can also stretch the video to the new audio.

Can it dub several people talking? +

Sync 3 lets you choose which face to sync. Overlapping speech is harder, so dub one speaker at a time.

Can I try it for free? +

Yes. New Creative Claw accounts get 100 free credits with no card, enough for two 5-second MiniMax H3 Max Fast clips or six Nano Banana 2 images. After that, $10 buys 1,000 credits that never expire, with no subscription.

Does it work in ChatGPT and Claude? +

Yes. Install Creative Claw from the ChatGPT plugin directory, or in Claude add it from Claude's plugin directory (Customize → Plugins, then search for Creative Claw), connect on the plugin's Connectors tab, then sign in. The same account and credits also work in Codex, Cursor and OpenClaw.
