Clone a real voice only with consent
Tennessee’s ELVIS Act covers simulated voices, and California voids vague digital-replica clauses. Clone an actor’s voice only with their written consent; Creative Claw asks for it before cloning.
Character voices · ChatGPT · October 2026
Every character sounds like themselves, in every scene.
In ChatGPT, add Creative Claw, describe each character’s voice and audition three designed voices on their real lines; keep one and it is saved on the Character. From then on, every line that Character speaks uses it, in any language. ElevenLabs v4 voiced our whole five-line scene with four saved voices and emotion tags in one request for 9 credits, and the same voices spoke the Spanish dub.

Designed Character voice
Enjoy the party, Damien. It’s the last one you’ll have in this hotel. I have cleaned up after people like you for three years. Tonight, I’m done cleaning.
Designed Character voice
Lena? You’re serving drinks now? I always knew you’d end up here. Careful with that tray, sweetheart. Some of us actually belong at this party.
Designed Character voice
Oops. Watch where you’re going, waitress. That dress cost more than your whole year. Somebody get her out of my sight, she’s ruining the photos.
Designed Character voice
Miss Hart. Your father’s will was read tonight. The hotel, all of it, is yours. Mr. Cross, I believe you are standing in your new employer’s ballroom.
Four saved voices, English
[gasps, mock surprise] Oops. [sweetly cruel] Watch where you’re going, waitress. [amused] Lena? [laughs softly] You’re serving drinks now? [smug] I always knew you’d end up here. [quietly, steady] Enjoy the party, Damien. [short pause] It’s the last one you’ll have in this hotel. [formal, grave] Miss Hart. [pause] Your father’s will was read tonight. [slowly] The hotel… all of it… is yours. [stunned, barely a whisper] That’s… impossible.
Four saved voices, Spanish
[gasps, mock surprise] Uy. [sweetly cruel] Mira por dónde vas, camarera. [amused] ¿Lena? [laughs softly] ¿Ahora sirves copas?
Finished example
We invented a vertical drama, The Waitress Is the Heiress, and saved its four cast members as Creative Claw Characters: a portrait, a description and a designed voice each. Every still, shot and line after that named a Character instead of describing a face again. Nano Banana 2 made the stills, Gemini Omni Flash shot them, ElevenLabs v4 voiced the whole scene in one request with the four saved voices, Sync 3 matched every mouth to its line, and HyperFrames cut the episode.
Voiceover script
“Vivian: Oops. Watch where you’re going, waitress. Damien: Lena? You’re serving drinks now? I always knew you’d end up here. Lena: Enjoy the party, Damien. It’s the last one you’ll have in this hotel. Hale: Miss Hart. Your father’s will was read tonight. The hotel… all of it… is yours. Damien: That’s… impossible.”

The series, cast and voices are fictional and were made for this page. Three of our seven stills first came out with a drifted face and were regenerated (72 more credits); the fix is on the consistent characters page. Google also refused the wine-spill shot twice, at no charge, until we edited the mid-air splash out of its still (24 credits).

The workflow
Install Creative Claw from ChatGPT’s plugin directory and sign in. New accounts get 100 free credits, no card.
Age, accent, timbre, pace and attitude: “deep, slow, formal British, kind but stern.”
Pass two of the character’s lines as the audition text and listen to the three options.
Save it on the Character; it becomes that Character’s voice for every speech request.
Send the scene as dialogue turns, one Character per turn, with emotion tags in square brackets.

Use cases
| Character | Voice brief | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Lena Hart | Warm, low alto, slight husk, quiet and controlled | She never raises her voice; restraint sells the twist |
| Damien Cross | Smooth, polished baritone, smug, lazy pace | The smirk has to be audible |
| Vivian Lake | Bright, breathy, sugary with a cold bite | Distinct from Lena at a glance of the ear |
| Arthur Hale | Deep, slow, formal British, kind but stern | The reveal needs weight and pauses |

TikTok bans AI likenesses of anyone under 18 and of private adults without permission, even when labelled. Build Characters from invented faces, and design voices from a description, never to imitate someone.
TikTok requires a label on “all AI-generated content that contains realistic images, audio, and video,” and YouTube asks you to disclose realistic synthetic scenes. Turn the platform’s AI label on.

Practical answers
Yes, with Creative Claw. Describe each voice and Voice Design returns three auditions; keep one and it is saved on the Character, then every line that Character speaks uses it.
Age, accent, timbre, pace and attitude, plus how it should sound in the scene. Ours: “warm, low alto with a slight husk, quiet and controlled” for Lena and “deep, slow, formal British” for the lawyer.
Audition them on the character’s real lines, not a test sentence. We passed each character’s lines as the audition text and kept the one that matched the brief and read every word clearly.
A Voice Design request with three auditions cost us 3 to 4 credits for about 150 characters of text. Saving the voice on the Character is free.
Yes. ElevenLabs v4 takes a dialogue of turns, each with its Character, and returns one track with timings for every speaker. Our five turns with four voices cost 9 credits.
Yes, with tags in square brackets: [gasps], [sweetly cruel], [laughs softly], [stunned, barely a whisper]. ElevenLabs v4 performs them instead of reading them aloud.
Yes. We voiced the same scene in Spanish with the same four voices; each Character still sounds like itself.
With the actor’s consent, yes: Creative Claw clones a voice from a short recording and saves it on a Character, and asks for consent first. Without consent, design a new voice instead.
No. Voice Design creates new voices from a description and must not imitate a real, identifiable person. Tennessee’s ELVIS Act covers simulated voices.
Sync 3 lip-syncs each shot to its line, so the mouth matches the saved voice instead of the voice the video model invented.
Yes. TikTok requires creators to label “all AI-generated content that contains realistic images, audio, and video,” and says the label does not affect distribution. Unlabelled realistic AI content may be removed, restricted or labelled for you.
On TikTok, AI-generated likenesses of anyone under 18, likenesses of private adults used without permission, and public figures in endorsements. Child-heir and “lucky baby” plots are popular; cast an adult or keep a child off screen.
Yes, with disclosure for realistic scenes, but YouTube will not monetise “templated storylines” or videos where characters are put “in the same situation over and over again with the same outcome.” Vary each episode’s plot.
Producers on the Verticals Agreement may not use a fully synthetic performer in place of a performer who would have been hired for a human role without bargaining with SAG-AFTRA, must delete digital replicas within 90 days of the final edit, and may not train models on the footage.
Only with their written consent. Tennessee’s ELVIS Act covers simulated voices; California voids digital-replica clauses that do not describe the use; New York requires ads to disclose synthetic performers since June 9, 2026.
Yes. Since September 1, 2026, the NRTA’s micro-drama measures require every episode of an AI-generated micro-drama to carry a visible AI label.
