We swapped both people in a 14.7-second bathroom clip: the person on the left became Itay, our founder, saved as a Character, and the person on the right became Ramzi, a fictional Character. What should I check before rendering?
It replaces the whole person
The new character takes over the body and performance, and arrives in its own outfit by default. Say “keep the original clothes” if only the person should change.
References decide the look
A reference that crops the top of the head can come back with the wrong hair. Check each preview and fix it before you approve the render.
Fast, hidden faces are harder
Quick turns, hands over faces and very small figures are where a swap drifts first. Clips with clear faces in most frames give the best result.

Can Claude replace a person in a video?
Not by itself, because Claude has no video model. With the Creative Claw plugin added, paste a video link or attach a clip, say who to replace, and its swap_video_characters tool renders the new version with Seedance 2.5.
Can I paste a TikTok or YouTube link into Claude?
Yes. Social links are not video files, so Claude first imports the clip into your Creative Claw workspace, then starts the swap from that copy. TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and X links work, and so does an attached video file.
How long can the video be?
At least 4 seconds. One swap covers up to 30 seconds; a longer clip is cut to its first 30 seconds automatically and the card says so.
How much does it cost to swap a character in a video?
The three image previews are free. A 10-second swap costs 285 credits ($2.85) as a 480p draft, 639 at 720p and 1,572 at 1080p. A 30-second swap costs 853 credits as a draft and 4,716 at 1080p.
Can I swap more than one person?
Yes. Give up to eight saved Characters or reference photos and say who becomes whom. The example on this page swaps two people in one render.
Does the swapped video keep the original audio?
Yes. The original soundtrack is put back on the swapped video, and the motion, camera, cuts and timing stay the same.
What if a preview looks wrong?
Tell Claude what to change in that preview, such as the hair or the clothes. Previews are images, so changing one is free; the paid render starts only when you press Generate video.
Is this a face swap?
It is a whole-person swap: the new character takes over the body, clothes and performance. By default your Character appears in its own outfit; ask to keep the original clothes if you want only the person changed.
Do I need a paid Claude plan?
Plugins from Claude’s directory need a paid plan: Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise. Creative Claw itself has no subscription: new accounts get 100 free credits, then $10 buys 1,000.
