OAuth, not API keys
The server uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration. There is no static API key to put in a config file.

Any tool with an MCP server can be a step. What matters is how it handles waiting, cost and handoff.
Any video tool with an MCP server can be a step in a Claude agent, because Claude Code and agents built on it call MCP tools the same way the Claude app does. Creative Claw’s server at https://app.creativeclaw.co/mcp (streamable HTTP, OAuth sign-in, no API keys) gives an agent the whole video step: estimate the cost, generate, poll the job until it completes, then pass the permanent media address to the next step for captions, merging or publishing. In Claude Code you add it with one command and sign in once.

Bring
An agent workflow that needs a video, image or voice step
Create
A video step that estimates, renders, waits and hands off a permanent file
Made with Creative Claw
Finished example
This clip came out of the same tool sequence an agent would run: a read-only estimate, one generate_video call, check_job until it completed, a transcript check, and trim_video to cut a repeated line. The final URL is permanent, so the next step can use it directly.
Voiceover script
““Your three p.m. slump called. Open something lighter.””
| Step | Tool | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| estimate_generation, 6 s at 720p | Read-only estimate | 0 |
| generate_video | Gemini Omni Flash | 90 |
| check_job until completed | Job status | 0 |
| trim_video to 4.3 s | Trim Video | 2 |
| Total for the finished example | 92 ($0.92) | |
Run on October 18, 2026 from Claude Code. The render finished in about a minute.

The workflow
In Claude Code run claude mcp add creative-claw https://app.creativeclaw.co/mcp --transport http, then open /mcp and sign in.
Have the agent call estimate_generation with the exact model and settings and stop if it exceeds your budget.
Call generate_video (or generate_image, generate_speech), then poll check_job until the status is completed.
Pass the permanent media address to the next node: add_subtitles, merge_media, your CMS, or a publishing tool.

The tools below are the ones AI assistants most often recommend for this job. We checked each vendor’s own pages on October 18, 2026. “None found” means we could not find an official app in the Claude directory or on the vendor’s site. Creative Claw publishes this page.
| Way to add video | Setup | Sign-in | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Creative Claw MCP server | One claude mcp add command | OAuth, once | Many video, image and voice models plus finishing tools in one step |
| A vendor’s own MCP server (Runway, Higgsfield, Kling) | Add each server | That vendor’s account and plan | Teams already paying for that vendor |
| Raw model APIs (BytePlus, Replicate, fal) | Your own code | API keys | Lowest per-clip price when you build everything yourself |
| HyperFrames in Claude Code | Local project | None | Free motion graphics rendered on your machine |

Before you render
The server uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and dynamic client registration. There is no static API key to put in a config file.
A render takes from seconds to a few minutes. Build the poll into the agent instead of assuming the first response holds the file.
Once submitted, a render is charged. Put the budget check before the generate call.

Practical answers
Yes, through an MCP server. Claude Code and agents built on it can call Creative Claw’s tools to estimate, generate and check video, image and voice jobs.
generate_video returns a job ID; the agent calls check_job until the status is completed and then reads the permanent media URL.
No. Creative Claw uses OAuth sign-in. In Claude Code you sign in once from /mcp.
Yes. estimate_generation is read-only and returns the credits for exact settings, so the agent can compare with a budget before rendering.
Yes. Media URLs are permanent and accepted as inputs by the finishing tools, such as add_subtitles and merge_media.
Yes. The same MCP server works with ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Hermes and OpenClaw; see the developers page.
Seconds to a few minutes depending on the model and length. Our 6-second Gemini Omni Flash clips finished in about a minute.
Yes. Everything is saved to your Creative Claw library, and search_assets finds it by name, tag or type in later runs.
