Code-rendered video is not footage
HyperFrames and Remotion animate the HTML, images and clips you give them. People, products and places that look filmed need a video model.
Claude questions · October 2026
Yes: write the video as code, or call a video model through a plugin.
Yes, in two ways. Claude Code can write a video as code, a HyperFrames (HTML) or Remotion (React) project, and render it to MP4 on your computer for free; that suits animated text, charts, product UI and explainers. For filmed-looking footage it needs a video model: install the Creative Claw plugin and Claude Code calls Seedance 2.5, Gemini Omni Flash or MiniMax H3 Max, then hands back the finished file’s address to save into your project. AI clips start at 33 credits ($0.33) with Wan 3.0 at 480p for 5 seconds, and a cloud render of a HyperFrames composition starts at 5 credits.
Listed in Claude’s plugin directory: add the plugin, connect on its Connectors tab and sign in. 100 free credits, no card.

Finished example
This edit was made from a Claude Code session on October 18, 2026. Claude Code passed our 6-second MORROW clip to Gemini Omni Flash with one instruction, keep the can and the camera move and change the setting to a winter windowsill, and saved the result. The can, its label and the timing held.
Voiceover script
“No voiceover: the fizz and a soft winter wind, generated with the edit.”
| Step | Tool | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Edit the 6-second clip at 720p | Gemini Omni Flash | 75 |

The workflow

Describe the clip and, if you like, the model, for example a Gemini Omni Flash edit of an existing clip. Claude Code shows the estimate, then calls the tool.
Claude Code gets a permanent MP4 address back and can download it into your project folder or pass it to the next step.
For motion graphics, install HyperFrames with claude plugin marketplace add heygen-com/hyperframes and claude plugin install hyperframes@hyperframes, ask for a composition, and run npx hyperframes render. It needs Node.js 22+ and FFmpeg.
