How to Install CreativeClaw in Hermes Agent

Hermes Agent can use CreativeClaw as a remote MCP server. The reliable setup is a one-click Hermes deep link or two terminal commands: one to save the hosted endpoint and one to complete OAuth.

Option 1: Add to Hermes in one click

Allow your browser to open Hermes, review the server name and URL, and approve the installation. Then complete the browser sign-in when Hermes asks you to authenticate.

If the link does not open, use the CLI method below.

Option 2: Install from the Hermes CLI

Run these commands:

hermes mcp add creative-claw --url https://app.creativeclaw.co/mcp --auth oauth
hermes mcp login creative-claw

The login command opens CreativeClaw’s OAuth flow. Sign in, approve access, and return to the terminal.

Verify the connection

List your configured servers:

hermes mcp list

Then start a fresh Hermes session and ask:

Use Creative Claw to check my credit balance, then list the recommended
low-cost models for generating one square product image.

If Hermes can read the balance and model catalog, the MCP and OAuth connection are working.

Troubleshooting

The hermes:// link does nothing

Confirm that Hermes is installed on the same computer as your browser. Some browsers ask before opening custom application links. If the prompt is blocked, use the two CLI commands instead.

OAuth says the server is not configured

Run the hermes mcp add command first, then retry hermes mcp login creative-claw. Portable plugin-provided MCP entries do not currently cover every OAuth login path, which is why this guide uses Hermes’ native MCP registry.

CreativeClaw tools do not appear

Run hermes mcp list, confirm that creative-claw is enabled, and start a new session. If authorization expired, rerun the login command.
