How to Use Google Omni in Claude (Coming Soon)
Google Omni isn’t publicly available yet. Google has not released it as an API, so you can’t use it in Claude - or anywhere else - today. When Google ships it, we plan to add Google Omni to CreativeClaw so you can generate video with it directly inside Claude, the same one-message way you already use models like Seedance 2.0 and Veo. Until then, the leading model for AI video in Claude is Seedance 2.0.
This page explains what’s known so far, how you’ll use Google Omni in Claude once it launches, and exactly what to use in the meantime.
Is Google Omni available yet?
No. As of now, Google has not exposed Google Omni as a public API, and there’s no general availability. We’re tracking it and will update this page with concrete capabilities, pricing, and limits the moment Google announces them - rather than guess at specs before launch.
What we can say:
- It is not something you can call from Claude, CreativeClaw, or any third-party tool today.
- The moment Google provides an API, adding it to CreativeClaw is on our roadmap - so it’ll show up alongside the other video models you already use.
- Nothing about your setup will change: if you’re already connected to CreativeClaw, new models become available without any extra work.
Why use CreativeClaw for AI video models?
CreativeClaw is the fastest and simplest way to use AI video models in Claude. Here's why:
- No API keys needed - No accounts, no configuration files. Connect one URL and every model is available instantly.
- No subscriptions - Pay only for what you generate. $10 = 1,000 credits. No monthly fees, credits never expire.
- MCP Apps - Preview generated media directly in Claude's UI. See results inline without opening files or navigating to external URLs.
- Expert skills built in - CreativeClaw knows how to get the best results from AI video models. You don't need to be a prompt engineering expert - Claude handles the optimization.
- Let Claude iterate - This is the real power. Claude generates, evaluates the result, refines the prompt, and regenerates - all in one conversation. Your AI agent becomes your creative director.
- Run from anywhere - CreativeClaw is a remote MCP server. Use it from Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Claude Web, or OpenClaw - same results, same account, wherever you work.
How you’ll use Google Omni in Claude (once it launches)
When Google Omni is live and we’ve added it, the workflow will be the same as every other video model in CreativeClaw - no new tools to learn:
Step 1: Connect CreativeClaw to Claude. Visit our setup guide - one MCP URL, under a minute. It works in Claude Code, Claude Desktop, and Claude on the web.
Step 2: Ask Claude to generate. Name the model and describe the shot - “generate a 5-second clip with Google Omni of…” - and Claude submits the job and polls automatically until the video is ready.
Step 3: Refine. Iterate in the same conversation - adjust the prompt, change the camera, or extend the clip.
Setup by client
Claude Code - Install the CreativeClaw plugin for the full experience with skills and optimized prompts. See setup guide.
Claude Desktop (Cowork) - Add the CreativeClaw MCP URL in your MCP server settings.
Claude Web (claude.ai) - Add CreativeClaw as a remote MCP server in your MCP settings. The plugin with advanced skills is coming soon, but the MCP tools work today.
OpenClaw - Add CreativeClaw as an MCP server in your configuration.
What should I use for AI video right now?
While Google Omni is still coming, Seedance 2.0 is the model we recommend for most use cases. It’s ByteDance’s flagship - top of the Artificial Analysis benchmark - with director-level camera control, native audio, and physics-aware motion. For the majority of cinematic, character, and product shots, it’s the best result you can get in Claude today.
A quick guide to what’s available now:
| If you want… | Use | Why |
|---|---|---|
| The best all-round AI video | Seedance 2.0 | #1 benchmark, camera control, native audio |
| Lower cost per clip | Seedance 2.0 Fast | Same capabilities, cheaper |
| 4K resolution from Google | Veo 3.1 | Google’s current video model, up to 4K |
| Longer, character-consistent clips | Sora 2 | OpenAI’s model, strong continuity |
| Expressive faces / emotion | Kling | Facial nuance and subtlety |
For most people the answer is Seedance 2.0 - start there, and switch models only when you have a specific reason to. See the full Seedance 2.0 guide for prompting tips and pricing.
Want Google Omni the day it lands?
The fastest way to use Google Omni the moment it’s available is to be connected already. Set up CreativeClaw now, start generating with Seedance 2.0 today, and Google Omni will appear as a new model option as soon as Google ships an API and we add it - no migration, same account.
FAQ
Can I use Google Omni in Claude today?
No. Google hasn’t released Google Omni as a public API, so it isn’t usable in Claude, CreativeClaw, or any other tool yet. Use Seedance 2.0 in the meantime.
When will Google Omni be available?
Google hasn’t announced general availability or an API date. We’ll update this page with details as soon as Google does, and add the model to CreativeClaw once an API exists.
Will CreativeClaw support Google Omni?
Adding Google Omni is on our roadmap for when Google releases an API. If you’re already connected to CreativeClaw, it will become available without any changes on your end.
What’s the best AI video model I can use right now?
Seedance 2.0 for most use cases - benchmark-leading quality, director-level camera control, and native audio. Veo 3.1 is the pick when you specifically need up-to-4K output from Google’s current model.
Do I need a Google account or API key?
No. CreativeClaw is one connection that gives Claude access to every supported model - no separate accounts or API keys per provider. That will include Google Omni when it launches.
